In the last two years, Tavaasa has trained over 80 students across 40+ SCA courses. That's more SCA training than every other centre in India combined.
We run scheduled courses through the year. If you have at least 2 students ready, we'll schedule a course around you.
Your Trainers
Jaishika started at Tavaasa as a Coffee Fellow and never left. She is now Head Roaster and Researcher, an Authorised SCA Trainer, and a Q Grader. She holds SCA Diplomas in Roastery Operations, Coffee Trade, and Café. She teaches Roasting and Sensory Skills.
Col Manish spent 32 years in the Indian Army before finding his way into specialty coffee. He is a Q Grader, an Authorised SCA Trainer, and holds SCA Diplomas in Roastery Operations, Coffee Trade, and Café. He teaches Brewing and Barista Skills and runs training programmes for café professionals and newcomers to the industry.

Barista Foundation Program: 4 to 8 July 2026
5 days, from bean to brew. No prior experience needed.
Fee: Rs 14,160 including GST. Lunch and coffee included on all days.

SCA Sensory Foundation and Intermediate, back to back.
Fee: Rs 50,000 including SCA certifications. Lunch included.

Fee: Rs 50,000 including SCA certifications. Lunch included.
