Roast 33: Blush Meridian

Grown at Krishnagiri Estate in India, at 1,300 MASL. This is 100 percent Arabica, single estate and fully traceable. Where the other drip bags in this range are natural processed, this one is washed, the cherries pulped and the mucilage removed before drying, so what shows up in the cup leans closer to the bean’s own character rather than anything fermentation adds.

We roast this one as Roast 33 under our internal roast engineering system, calibrated across more than 2,500 cupping sessions. It cups at 84+ points, dialled in for a light-medium roast that lets the estate’s character come through.

In the cup: sweet orange and berry compote up front, rounded out by toasted walnut, low in acidity, gently sweet, with low bitterness. Each sachet is nitrogen sealed straight after roasting, individually packed for a 365 day shelf life.

Tear it open, hang it on your mug, and pour hot water through. Ready in under two minutes, no grinder, no filter, no equipment at all.
